Farmers' Market Tour and Hands-on Cooking Class

wine country cooking classesGet away from the crowds in the wineries and join us for a cooking class. The class begins at the Calistoga Farmers' Market. We tour the market and select products for our seasonal menu. The combined market tour and class lasts about 5 hours. Classes are a combined format of demonstration and hands-on unless otherwise indicated.

The class fee is $175 per person - students receive hands-on instruction, printed recipe handouts and enjoy a delicious meal served with wine/beverage. Accommodations are additional and are availabe at CasaLana or other nearby lodging properties.

Farmers' Market Tour and Hands-on Cooking Class - End of Summer Flavors September 16, 2017

We visit the local farmers' market to learn about products and select items for the menu which will be based on the end of summer bounty.

Our menu will incorporate the abundance of peppers, squash and tomatoes in recipes such as Garden Greens with Marinated Feta and Roasted Peppers; Wild Salmon with Mango Salsa; Quinoa with Roasted Corn and Black Beans; Apple Fig Galette with Honey Ice Cream or other delicious recipes.
